He's Almost Here!

Less than 2 weeks until our "little Baby Brother" joins the family. I am getting excited. Unfortunately, I have been so busy to really absorb it all and now, I don't have time to think about it..He's going to be here soon. On the way home today,I told Big Sis, "Baby brother is coming soon!" She replied with , "YEAH!" and threw her arms in the air, Too cute! I can't wait to watch her hold him. She'll be a great Big Sis. Now, we need to settle on a name.....Hmmmm.....stay tuned :)

Baby Cousin Arrives

The family grew by one today. She got to meet her baby cousin Mason. It is her first baby cousin. She wasn't quite sure about him at first. However, when we returned home, all we played was "new little baby" all afternoon!Waiting patiently for my baby cousin!
"Oh! There he is!""

"Why's he crying so loud?...I think I'm getting scared.."

Tricycle Success

She has finally become successful at pedaling her tricycle on her own. Of course, all of the good camera batteries were dead. So, we had to use the one that looks like it was taken in the "Wonder Years" era and has no sound. :)

Nice Day on Main Street

We enjoyed a nice afternoon on Main Street with our friends. A little lunch, some shopping, and ice cream made us all happy.
Ahh...how cute are these two together! She just loves her little friend.

While shopping, she got her first piece of jewelry, a monogrammed little necklace. She picked it out herself.

Six Flags Fun!

We spent an evening at Six Flags and had a blast. Our little girl had so much fun. She really showed us that she is growing up fast. She loved all the Looney Toon characters..they got high fives and hugs. She's come a long way from the Easter Bunny. She was even disappointed when we were unable to get a picture with Bugs Bunny.
Our time was mostly spent in Bugs Bunny National Park. (The place for all the little rides.) Her favorite was the swings and the "little Choo-choo." The lines were short so she got to stay on the rides for multiple turns! YEAH!! Finally at 10:00pm, I found myself convincing her it was time to leave by answering all her questions... "Why are we leaving?"... "Why is it dark?" ...."Where's the moon?".."Where are the men (workers) going?"..."But I don't see the moon!?!"
She could have stayed up until midnight if we let her stay on those rides. So FUN!

Fourth of July Fun

A 4th of July family picture at Ninny and Grandpa's lake house. Just think, this time next year there will be little boy with us!

We had a fun Fourth filled with lots of stops at family and friends houses. She had a great time and was so excited to go to so many places! Fireworks were a little too much for her. Sparklers and snakes were more her speed.

Finally, she has reached a new milestone. She got to sit at the "kiddie table." No more highchair next to mommy. :) We have got to get one of those picnic tables.

The most fun was jumping on the bed with her friend and squealing at the top of her lungs.

She caught a few fish with Daddy. She reeled them in all by herself!

Beauty Shop

We have our own in-house beautician! Daddy got a great hair-do. She loved making Daddy "so pretty" as he relaxed on the couch.

Of course, daddy also needed help brushing his hair. After she got done brushing her own, she asked if she could brush his hair. She climbed up on the couch and went to town. Notice, her idea of brushing his hair is not what we expected. ..HA, HA. Daddy got a chest hair-do! And we got quite a few chuckles out of it!
