The home stretch..
I am in the home stretch of this pregnancy. The date has been set. We will meet our new little one on June 11 @ 1:30. Can't wait to see if I'll end up being a mom of 2 girls and 1 boy or 2 boys and 1 girl. Oh, how different those combinations are....I'm getting anxious!
Some people at this point are "nesting". Me on the other hand, I felt like changing everything about my life. Before we welcome our baby...I have to pack up & move jobs (and figure out what my job will be), find a house for us to live in, and find all of our baby supplies that were packed up during the move. Just a short little list of to-do's before the baby. That baby better not come early! :)
Moving Time
Rain, Rain
Go Away.
Save your gloom
for another day....
The rain matched my mood on moving day. It was sad to see the house slowly and crazily empty out. It was such a busy day that it flew by so fast.
The kids, on the other hand, had a blast playing in the rain and finding odds and ends of stuff to play on.
The sadness of leaving our house has lifted. I can now focus on the search for our new home. As we go and see more and more houses, I am getting more excited for our future memories in our new home...I often try to picture the houses we look at as backdrops for our kids' prom pictures...I can imagine the future in a new place.
The Last Night....
Last night in our perfect little "starter home". The home that we thought we would just start out in, ended up giving us 8 years of great memories! This 2 bedroom house was perfect for us after we got married. It was still perfect when we brought home our baby girl... and then our baby boy. Good bye cozy little home! :(
Chinese picnic dinner in our living room.
Slumber party silliness as we all sleep together for one last night in our house.
Easter Cuties
My Easter Cuties...
I love that I can still dress them in matching colors. I will be bummed the day I can no longer dress them matching. However, as for now, all I have to do is sound excited about an outfit for the Little Guy to love it. He's easily persuaded. :)

Easter Egg Hunt
The kids had a chance to participate in their first "real" egg hunt. It was all free at a park with lunch and the Easter Bunny.
The little guy's egg hunt was perfect for him. His age group allowed for calm egg hunting. He even had time to pick the grass out of his basket. He did not like that grass in there with his eggs.
Sissy's egg hunt, on the other hand, was a mess. A few mishaps and a bunch of crazy kids left lots of kids with empty baskets. We ended up sneaking on the older kids' egg hunt and Sissy was able to recoup her egg supply..and her smile.

Of course, we had to visit the Bunny, too. The little guy needed my support to get up there next to him. At least he spared the tears for the pic.
