Easter 2011

Such a blessed Easter it was to celebrate with family. I am truly blessed to have such healthy and happy kids and a great family to share them with.
.....now what to do with all this darn candy...... :)

A Little Get Away

We are still recuperating from the fun had on our 2nd annual Easter weekend get away. This year we took Ninny and Grandpa with us. The trip was great as always. I couldn't decide what pictures to add...so I added a lot. There were so many good memories to share from our short but sweet visit. We stayed off the beaten path this time in little cabin next to the water. The simplicity of it made it awesome. We will definitely head back there again. How could you pass up breakfast at a place where the pancakes are this HUGE!?! Delish!

Rock candy...one of the main food groups, right?

We of course had our fun riding some rides and eating lots of good food. I feel like I need to detox from eating out all weekend. Fruits and veggies the rest of the week for us...
The weekend ended with one of my favorite things to do...sit outside under the porch and watch the rain. It reminds me of when I was little. My Dad always made his way outside with us to sit on the porch and watch the rain. They had a blast running in and out of the rain. It reconfirmed that a covered porch should stay on my "must have" list for our new house.

Muddy FUN!

Our lovely dogs have blessed us with some great holes in our backyard. (Do you sence some sarcasm? Maybe just a little.) It was today that the holes were seen with a different light.
While doing some yard spring cleaning with our leaky garden hose, a surprise appeared. It was a little boy's dream! Oh boy....mud & water = FUN!

Easter Bunny, Baby Animals, and Friends...OH MY!

..or should we say, "Oh FUN!"She was very eager to see the Easter Bunny. Where's the little guy you ask? Well, see that empty spot on the left side of the bunny. He was there until his fear overcame him and he did a self-induced face dive off of the bench. He LOVED watching the sheep and her twin babies best of all the other animals.

Silly Kids!

Just sharing some random, fun pics from the last few weeks!Loving the warm Spring weather.
She loved the juice from the popsicle. She watched everyone's juice form as the popsicle melted and begged to drink it.
He saw no use for the plastic wrapping on the popsicle. He dumped out his popsicle, threw the wrapper down, and enjoyed his frozen pop right out of his hand!
Me~"Get your shoes on. We need to leave for swim lessons."
She~"I'm ready!"
Me~"Where's my camera!"
Apparently it's easier to pick out the raisins from the cereal when it's dumped out in the middle of the living room floor.

"Oggies!" His favorite dog watching spot...the kitchen counter.

Love these kids! No wonder I'm always tired! :)
