Kansas City Va-cay!

The WHOLE family went to KC this weekend to visit Aunt Kristin and Brenden. It was a fun time.We spent Saturday going on the best tour of the city. Our tour guides took us to Crown Plaza, The Canal, The Outdoor Shopping Area (forgot the real name), Rockhurst, and the Power and Light District (AKA Party Central - Wow!)

Of course, one baby taught the other baby how to crawl up steps...they followed each other right on up the steps! They are already getting into TROUBLE together. :)

Summer time is here!

Tons of fun childhood memories came flooding back when we bought her a Slip N Slide. Everyone took a turn. The only difference from when I was a kid weremy sore arms the next day...from bracing myself as I was going down. :)

This was our first trip to Ninny's pool. It was so nice. It was shallow enough for her to touch. I didn't have to hold her at all! And he LOVES water. In fact, when he hears the bathtub filling up, he cries until he gets put in it. Cutie Pie!

We had lots of summer fun this weekend! The weather was great for all the water play!

More Branson Vacation

We enjoyed another fun weekend at Branson. This time we were fortunate to meet up with some of our good friends at Silver Dollar City. They just happened to be having a Branson vacation at the same time as us. It was great to see old friends. The girls had a blast together and riding all the rides.

8 months ALREADY!

Where has the time gone? My baby boy is already 8 months old. He is such a happy little fellow! This past month he has made many milestones. He now gives kisses, pulls up on stuff, goes from laying down to sitting up, and tonight he CRAWLED! He was crawling to get one of Sissy's Tinkerbell toys. Watch out Sissy, nothings safe anymore!Here he is pulling up on the changing table. He found the diapers and was so excited to be grabbing them and throwing them on the ground.
A laundry basket can prove to be a lot of entertainment. He was sitting on the side of it, trying to figure out how to get the clothes out. He could see them but couldn't grab them through the little holes. Funny. He didn't even notice the huge opening at the other end. When he finally found it, pure joy filled him as he ripped the clothes out and threw them on the ground.

Happy 30th Daddy!

She picked out the cake..her reason was "Daddy's never had a smily face cake!"

Daddy turned 30 this week! Here he is with all the gifts she picked out for him! She was most excited about the Bubble Tape, which she swallowed after about a minute of chewing it. And the little guy, he's happy about anything in his hands these days! Fun times.
