Mother and Daughter Garden Party

It was much more than I expected. The Mother Daughter dinner and dance was fun! It was organized through Girl Scouts at Sis' school. We had great food, pics, crafts, and lots of dancing. I enjoyed talking with other Moms as the girls all ran and danced..gingham style was a hit as the kindergarteners watched the 8th graders cut a rug.

A little leprechaun left these kids a treasure hunt that led to a pot of chocolate gold and a surprise breakfast of Lucky Charms and green milk!

Reading Time.

Sissy can read!!! Here she is reading her first "real" book. Go, dogs, Go. After reading it, she looked up and said, "I can't believe I really read a book". It's taking us a few days to finish but she loves to read at night.

Little brother is also retelling his story. He loves to read now and has memorized his favorites. He is getting so smart.

Spring Fever

A beautiful day for a parade. The first one of the year. It was great to get everyone out. We are defiantly getting spring fever. After the parade, we let the kids run and play. It was fun to spend a day out together with friends and family....somehow missed our fav little cuz in the pic, but she was there, too!

Are we starting over?

I am feeling like it's the first day all over again. Work has been so busy and stressful it has sent my mind elsewhere ..... To the thoughts of missing my kids. Missing them growing up each day. Missing having the time to spend with them. This week at work has consumed me and I am only half way through.

Could it be worse? Yes it could. I know that. However, right now, this still is not fun'

Update....this bad week is over! Thank goodness. Now on to happy days!

Finally!

I finally downloaded the blog app! I can now post from my phone!!! Should have done this earlier. Its so hard to post from our computer when it's in a room with a sleeping baby. Plus the only time I have to post is when the baby is sleeping. Catch 22. Here's to many more recent posts!

8 Months

Happy 8 Months! He is growing so fast. He loves to wave and smile. It even sounds as if he is trying to say "hi" He also gets up on his hands and knees now to rock back and forth. His favorite this month is dancing. He will dance to anything. He even dances if I sing him a song or the kids play their instruments. He is a lot of fun and continues to be a happy baby!
