Against her will, we encouraged her to sign up and play softball this year. We prepped her by saying that if she did not like it, she would never have to play again. I'm glad we forced her to play because she loves it. I think she may like it more than soccer. The pink shoes, helmet, and bat probably help a little. ;)
Due to all the stinking rain, she has only had one game. That one game was a success. Her first time up at bat, she hit the first pitch. It was great! The outfield play was typical of kindergarteners~lots of day dreaming, not paying attention, and playing with the grass. Best game I had seen in a long time!
