Where has the time gone?

I just realized that it has been over a month since I have posted. Where has the time gone? Promise...I will post pics soon. We have so much fun stuff to share!

Fall has arrived!

My favorite time of year has arrived. I LOVE FALL! We have not wasted any time getting started on our favorite fall festivities....

Field Trip with Sissy to the apple Orchard! So, excited to ride the bus. She kept asking me, "Have you ever been on a bus before?!?" Wanting me to say, "No, this is the best bus ride EVER!" I had to try and bring myself to her level of excitement. :)
Yummy~ Roasting marshmallows on our first fire pit of the season. Sissy was such a great helper to the newbie marshmallows roaster.

If you haven't yet seen the September 11 memorial, you should. It was amazing to see all the flags. However, more breath taking to see that every flag had the name and location on that day of each person that died.

A Nice Surprise...

I want to share my little bit of exciting, professional, and very much unexpected news with those closest to me!
I was welcomed to work on Friday with many "congrats." Little to my knowledge, an email had been sent out about me. My principal nominated me from our building for the Emerson Excellence in Teaching Award. The email said this award recognizes "teachers with outstanding contributions to the teaching profession and to the students they teach."
I couldn't believe it. I never, never, never expected to be nominated for any type of award, ever! Since I became a Mom, I simply do my job and not much else. I am not the one getting to work hours before school or staying hours after school. However, somehow I must have done something right.
Definitely a proud professional moment! Thanks for letting me share....

Captured!

Such little personalities captured in our newest pictures. These are baby brother's 2 year pictures. Of course, we couldn't pass up a chance for Sissy to get a few smiles in there, too.
I am so blessed to have such a talented brother. He does such a great job with taking my kiddos pictures. I cannot wait to print these pictures. Now..just to sell our house, so I can actually hang them up!

2 Years Old Already!

What a great day we had, celebrating our little guys birthday. He is 2 already!

We started the day out with his favorite, chocolate donuts on his favorite George plates. Then we headed to a parade with our friend. He loved the idea of holding a bag out to get candy. He liked it so much. He couldn't stop looking in his bag...and of course eating it. He had so much candy that morning.



Then the real party started....He got a Bounce House for his birthday! It was such a hit. They jumped all day and night long. It was so worth the money. The next day we were out there again at 8:00 in the morning jumping away. I'm sure the neighbors are going to be sick of hearing toddler and little girls squeals! It's just too much fun!

Such a busy day...He finally headed to bed after one last request. He wanted to sleep with his new choo-choo.

My BIG Girl...

This past week my little girl had her Summer Program and Pre-school Graduation. She graduated from the Butterfly Room to the Watermelon Room. She is in her last preschool room. Next Spring we will be enrolling her in Kindergarten! Time is flying!She did a great job during her program. This picture is of her most talked about part...dancing with a boy!
She has begged to do this "jumpy thing" at the mall for at least 1 1/2 years. I finally caved and let her do it on a special Mommy and Sissy day. She loved it! Guess she didn't get my fear of heights!
